Leah Sewell is a veteran publisher and magazine editor, poet, journalist and all-around writerly personage. Leah has an MFA in writing from the University of Nebraska, is a published author, graphic designer, and has a very healthy obsession with books, podcasts, art, and from-scratch cooking. Her chapbook, Birth in Storm, was the winner of the Emerge Publications Chapbook Competition. Her full-length collection of poems, Mother-Ghosts, was released in spring 2017 from Woodley Press. She teaches English at Washburn University, freelances, and moonlights slinging drinks at a blues club. She lives in Kansas where she’s the mother of two wily kids.
